He has been able to mentor younger residents around Camp Camby in learning valuable life skills, such as cooking.
"As children, they grew up with no family environment or family dinners," Bill said. "It was all fast food. They'll ask me if I'm cooking and we'll do it together ... teaching them those little life skills that I was so blessed to have learned from my mom."
